Stall Front Grilles for Lumber Installation

Armour stall grills can be used in a variety of locations throughout the stable: stall front grills are placed in the stall front, near the stall door. See also stall dividers or stall partitions and window grills for additional stall grille sizes and areas of placement. Stall Front Grilles usually include a Feeder Access Door (FAD). The FAD option provides easy access to feeding and equine visitation. Stall front grilles are assembled for 1-1/2" lumber installation and C series grilles are manufactured for concrete walls or double wall lumber construction. If you are unsure which type to order, please call and speak to a product specialist at 800-876-7706. Stall front grilles are assembled using 1" diameter round vertical bars with 3" between bar spacing and arrive welded as one (8'0" or less) or two pieces (8'6" or larger). Predrilled holes for installation and fasteners for all L Series grilles are provided. L Series grills are designed to fit horizontally between an existing end stall post and door post. And vertically below the stall header and above the stall front wall. Stall front walls of 1-1/2" lumber can be constructed using Armour's Receiver Channels. Receiver Channels are "u" shaped channels that are fastened vertically to the existing stall end post and door post. Once fastened into place, lumber can be inserted or loaded horizontally into channels to construct stall walls. Armour offers stall grilles in four packages: 1) grille, 2) grille with receiver channel, 3) grille with feeder access door built in, or 4) grille, feeder access & receiver channel. Front grilles arrive standard 3'0" or 4'0" in height and all standard lengths are listed. Custom size grilles can be ordered through our sister website at www.armourgates.com or by calling 800-876-7706.
