Gossip Gates

Armour Gossip Gates are manufactured with old world styling combined with modern craftsmanship. Using our standard techniques of concealed welds, capped posts and moisture drainage vents, each gate is squared before securing the protective aluminum channels around lumber areas to insure a proper, trouble-free installation. The frame for all gossip gates are made with two 5'0" channel posts and secured to the 3 bar zephyr top at several points at the 4'0" lumber height. The triple-bar zephyr style gossip top is approximately 12" higher than the upper horizontal channel. Lumber panels can be ordered in the popular crossbuck, horizontal or vertical tongue and groove patterns, or the extremely Ventilated Taube Vent-a-Bar style. Lumber is layered, then secured together by glue and counter-sunk wood screws in the rear of each gate fascia. Periodic maintenance, such as painting or staining is recommended. After curing, the lumber is fitted for insertion into the aluminum channel framing. Built-in moisture drainage vents are included in the manufacture of all Armour Gossip Gates.
